Postcards from Greece

Greece was a place I've been wanting to visit for a long time and it truly didn't disappoint. We went to a separate island called Corfu, where we were surrounded by beautiful beaches with clear water, the best food I've ever had (pizza, salads, and pasta wise), and amazing weather every single day. It was some sort of paradise. Of course, that is, excluding all the insects (I had 12 mosquito bites on my legs in 2 days #crying) but not everything is perfect (...except italian gelatos..). All jokes aside, it was incredibly worth it and one of my favourite places I've visited so far. I truly can't wait to go to Mykonos and Santorini next time!

Most days we spent the morning chilling at the beach or at the pool because the sun in the afternoon was almost unbearable, it felt like 45 degrees Celsius instead of 32. Then we went food-exploring for lunch and found a few restaurants that quickly became solid favourites and went back to those a few times during our stay (if you ever go to Corfu, make sure you go to La Tavola Calda and Kukutsi Sushi Bar). We then went and explored the town in the afternoon and took the opportunity to get to know the local places.

When it was golden hour/sunset time, on a few days we spent it at the beach but on most days, we spent it at Kukutsi Sushi Bar (hands down best food and service in Corfu) or another restaurant with panoramic views. It was by far my favourite moment of the day, and seeing the sky fill itself with beautiful colours was incredible. It was one of those things that you just don't forget.
