Spring Edition

Tuesday, 21 March 2017

Spring is just around the corner, in those slowly blooming flowers and in the rosy scent that fills the streets, which makes for a perfect Parisian vibe. That's exactly what I'm going for on this new season, so do expect lots of stripes, sweaters, and loafers from me and oh, don't forget about some dainty jewelry pieces and a classic bag to pull it all together. I think I've said it all now hehe. Well, I want to share you guys some of the items I found that are staples for these next months and of course, have a french touch about them.

Clothes: Staples are sweaters, oversized fluffy cardigans, bralettes, boyfriend jeans, embroidered skirts, striped tops, off the shoulder tops, silk camis, trench coats (yes, even in spring) and off the shoulder dresses. The colors of this season will be mustard, khaki, yellow and rosy. Also, floral is must (I know, groundbreaking!). Best stores are Net-a-porter, Zara, Topshop, Nasty Gal, Asos, For Love and Lemons, Free People and Urban Outfitters.

Shoes: Staples are flats and sandals, black ankle boots, oxfords, and a trusty pair of converse (or your favorite trainers). I always recommend going for black or white shoes, but a beige color can be pretty nice too. The best places to shop are New Look, Topshop, Revolve, and Barneys.

Accessories: Staples are small satchels, vintage sunglasses (rounded ones are my favorite), simple and subtle jewelry pieces and of course, flowers, classic french perfume, and other little accessories. For bags, I'd recommend Rebecca Minkoff and Mulberry but for cheaper alternatives go for Oasis or Asos. For Sunglasses, I think the best place to find vintage ones are in second-hand stores and jewelry-wise, I really like the collections by Topshop and Urban Outfitters but you can get really lovely items on Etsy or Luv Minimal for a great price.
